Fogarty Global Health Training
Dr. Varsha Dhurde received prestigious Fogarty Global Health Training fellowship for the year 2019-2020. The Fogarty Global Health Training program provides opportunities to generate a new cadre of global health researchers, educators, and professionals who will be prepared to address the new challenges in global health. The program is sponsored by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) and several collaborating Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The program provides fellows with a 12-month, mentored research fellowship in innovative global health research to promote health equity for populations around the world.
Dr. Varsha Dhurde received one week long orientation and training at National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA during June 29- July 5, 2019. She will carry out her research in Nagpur district under the mentorship of Dr. Archana Patel (Nagpur, India) and Dr. Patricia Hibberd (USA).
