SAIFRN Meet 2019
A day long workshop was conducted at Lata Medical Research Foundation, Nagpur on 13th November 2019 for the “South Asian Infant Feeding Research Network (SAIFRN) – India Chapter”. The theme of the workshop was “SAIFRN India – The way forward” .
SAIFRN as a network aims to develop research partnerships between South Asian and international research groups interested in infant and young child feeding. SAIFRN has brought together researchers and program managers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in collaboration with international partners in Australia.
This workshop aimed to focus on sharing ideas for multi-site or multi-country proposals and discussions surrounding funding opportunities that may make this possible. In this workshop the results and accomplishments made through “SAIFRN Policy Analysis project – Phase II” research (funded by the SAIFRN – PSLP grant) were also showcased.
